Parentology is intended for:

• Parents, guardians, and caregivers of children.
• Healthcare professionals using the tools in a professional capacity.
• Individuals who are at least 18 years of age.

By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Parentology is not intended for direct use by children.

🔑 3. Your Account

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information.
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with anyone.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at hello@parentology.app.
• Take responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use Parentology for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Enter false health data about a child with intent to mislead.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the platform.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract content without our written permission.
• Upload harmful content including viruses, malware, or offensive material.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our team.

🏥 5. Health & Medical Disclaimer

The growth charts, vaccination schedules, milestone trackers, and nutrition guides on Parentology are:

• Based on WHO, IAP, and other established paediatric references.
• Intended for informational and tracking purposes only.
• Not a replacement for consultation with a qualified paediatrician or healthcare provider.

Always consult your child's doctor for medical advice. In an emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.

Parentology shall not be liable for any health decisions made based on information from our platform.

©️ 6. Intellectual Property

All content on Parentology — including text, graphics, logos, icons, illustrations, and software — is the property of Parentology or its licensors and is protected under Indian copyright law.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Parentology content without our prior written consent.

Personal use of our tools (tracking your child's growth, generating charts for your own use) is permitted and encouraged.

📝 7. User Content

Any health data, notes, or content you enter into Parentology ("User Content") remains yours. You grant Parentology a limited licence to store and process this content solely to provide our services to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit is accurate and does not violate the rights of any third party.

We do not use your child's health data for advertising, training AI models, or any purpose beyond providing you with our tools.

Parentology may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., app store listings, partner tools). These are provided for your convenience only.

We do not endorse or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. Please review their policies independently.

⚖️ 9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Parentology shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform.
• Loss of data, inaccuracies in health data, or service interruptions.
• Decisions made based on information from Parentology.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (which, since our core tools are free, is typically ₹0).

You may stop using Parentology and request account deletion at any time by emailing hello@parentology.app.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, all data associated with your account will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

🇮🇳 11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
